<div itemprop="description"><br />On December 11, 2015 at Royal University Hospital, peacefully surrounded by friends and family, we said goodbye to our beloved father and grandfather at the age of 82. <br /><br />Arpad was born in Gyor, Hungary on January 6, 1933. He served in the air force for his country and immigrated to Canada with his wife Theresia in 1956. They made Saskatoon their home, where together they raised their four children. Arpad was an avid hunter and fisherman; he enjoyed gardening, wine making, and woodworking. The majority of his career was spent at Hy-Grade Millwork where he enjoyed his skills. <br /><br />Arpad is survived by his four children: Son John (Helen), his children Celeste and Sarah; Son Attila (Sharon), their children Chris, Daryl, Ashley, Brittany and Devon; Daughter Trissa (Perry); Daughter Margit (Kerry); and numerous great grandchildren.<br /><br />He is predeceased by his wife Theresia; parents Joseph and Gizella; brothers Leslie, William, Andrew, and sister Gizella.<br /><br />The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, with interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. <br /><br />To read this notice and share your memories, visit www.parkfuneral.ca &ldquo;Obituaries&rdquo;. <br />Arrangements entrusted to Kari Peters, Park Funeral Chapel, 306.244.2103.<br /></div>
