Fred Kostiuk, 88, peacefully passed away on December 8, 2016 after a very courageous battle with cancer at St. Paul's Hospital Palliative Care Unit, surrounded by his loving family.
Fred was born to Fred Sr. and Anastasia (Lypchuk) on May 8, 1928 at Bonne Madone, SK. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Eloise (nee Hubick), son Donald (Kathi), daughters Janine (Daryl Koroluk) and Jodi (Jeff Flatt), 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Mary Ginter, Rose Diduck and Garry Kostiuk, in-laws Walter Hubick, Bill Hubick, and a large extended family. Fred was predeceased by his parents and his siblings, Victor and Anna.
A family funeral has been held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift of blood donation at Canadian Blood Services or a memorial tribute to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
