<div itemprop="description">Friedel ‘Dula’ Gudula Veitch <br> <br>The passing of Mrs. Friedel ‘Dula’ Gudula Veitch, age 93 years, of Saskatoon occurred on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Royal University Hospital. <br> <br>She is survived by her daughter Margaret (Butch) Smith; sons Robert (Jamie) and Ronald (Heather); six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. <br> <br>Friedel was predeceased by her parents, Otto and Ludi, and her brother Reinhart. <br> <br>Friedel was born August 6, 1923 in Germany and as a young child, immigrated to Canada to the Beacon Hill, SK district. She attended Beacon Hill school. On December 9, 1950 she married William (Bill) Veitch and they farmed northwest of Saskatoon. After farming, she worked at Jan Lake Lodge, wintered on the west coast before moving into Saskatoon. <br> <br>The family would like to thank the care and support she received at Villa Royale, RUH, Saskatoon Homecare and her many friends. <br> <br>The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 2:30 pm from Park Funeral Chapel, 311-3rd. Avenue North, Saskatoon. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donation to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. <br> <br>To share memories and condolences, visit www.parkfuneral.ca “Obituaries- Contribute.
