<div itemprop="description"><br>Joseph was born on April 15, 1924 and passed away peacefully on September, 11, 2016 at the age of 92 at the Bethany Cochrane Nursing Home with his wife and daughter at his side. He was the youngest of nine children born on the family homestead in the Alvena district, SK. He attended Pitt School and helped his parents on the farm. Upon completing school, Joseph moved away and worked in a number of places including: Toronto, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Vancouver, Prince Rupert, and Ocean Falls, BC. Joseph returned home to SK after his mother suffered a stroke, and eventually took over the family farm. <br> <br>Joseph began traveling to Mexico in the early 1960s during the winters. It was there that he met and fell in love with Estela Tello Clavel. They were married in Mexico City on February 13, 1966, and returned to Alvena to live and start a family. After selling his farm in 1975, Joseph owned and operated Family Garage in Alvena. Upon selling the business, he worked for Rock-o-Matic Industries in Vonda, Boychuk Construction in Saskatoon, and the Saskatoon Parks and Recreation Department until he retired in 1989. That year, Joseph and Estela moved to Saskatoon, where he worked part time at Park Funeral Chapel until they moved to Cochrane, AB in 2007. <br> <br>Joseph is survived by his loving wife Estela of Cochrane, AB; a son Joseph Anthony of Calgary, AB; and two daughters, Estela Maria (Michael Zampardi) of New York, NY; and Miriam Rosalia (Paul Heer) of Kamloops, BC. Joseph is also survived by five grandchildren: Lucas, Jacob, and Tomas Heer of Kamloops, BC; and Avianna Nichole and Michael Joseph Zampardi of New York, NY. <br> <br>Joseph was predeceased by his parents Dmetro and Mary Dziadyk, five brothers: Mike (Anelia), Fred (Elsie), Dmetro (Ann), John (Patricia), and Bill (Ann); and three sisters: Ann (Raymond Ducharme), Mary (Bill Korpan), and Olga (Joe Pozniak/Steve Dubinski). <br> <br>Prayers will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 7:00 pm and the Funeral Service on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 11:00 am. Both services will be held at Park Funeral Chapel, 311-3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon. Officiating will be Fr. Rev. Andre Lalach.
