<div itemprop="description">Joseph Nicholas Krystyniak<br>July 22, 1931 – September 24, 2016<br><br>It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Joe on Saturday, September 24, 2016. <br><br>He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Anne; his children, Dwayne, Heather & Rod Reid, and Karen & Darren Whitaker; his grandchildren, Jennifer and Christopher; sister, Ann Brand and numerous nieces and nephews. <br><br>Joe was predeceased by his parents, Nick and Mary Krystyniak of Radisson. <br><br>Joe received his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1952. His first job was at the Co-op in Yorkton where he met his wife Anne. Joe retired as comptroller of Luther Tower in 1996. Joe was a member of the Knights of Columbus, had numerous hobbies including Curling, golfing, cribbage and Kaiser. Joe’s greatest joy came from spending time with family. The family would like to thank the staff at the Transitional Care Unit at City Hospital for looking after dad in his final weeks. <br><br>Memorial donations in Joseph’s name can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 101 440 2nd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2C3. <br><br>Divine Liturgy will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 10th Street and Munroe Avenue on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with celebrant Rev. Fr. Leonid Malkov, CSsR.
