KEITH RODNEY MILLER
June 19, 1939 - May 15, 2013

It is with sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Rod Miller, at Oliver Lodge on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the age of 73 years.

Rod was born in Camrose, AB in 1939. He joined the Canadian Air Force in 1964 and served for 11 years. Rod then worked for Correctional Services Canada, a job he loved, until he retired.

We truly are grateful to have had the most remarkable man anyone could know in our lives. He was a very caring, honest, understanding and patient man. Rod was devoted to his loving family. He loved to watch his grandchildren’s eye light up when on amusement park rides. Rod enjoyed the years he and Vera vacationed in Florida, and especially enjoyed walks on the beach barefoot. One of his passions was gardening and he took pride in his tomato plants.

Rod’s great grandson Preston loved his papa and helped take care of his papa while he was home.

Rod leaves behind his wife Vera; son Steve (Shelly) and their family Brittany and Byron; granddaughter Jenna and her son Preston; grandson Craig; other family and friends.

He was predeceased by his loving daughter Shelley; and parents Fred and Agda Miller.

The family would like to thank Oliver Lodge for their loving care and Pastor Linda for all her support.

At a later date a Family Graveside Service will be held to lay Rod’s cremated remains to rest.

To send online condolences to the family, visit www.parkfuneral.ca “Obituaries and Tributes”. Arrangements entrusted to Derryl Hildebrandt, Park Funeral Chapel, 306.244.2103.

Always remembered, never forgotten, active and healthy.
