<div itemprop="description">Remembrance of Melvin Julius Yakimchuk<br />June 8, 1950 &ndash; November 23, 2014 <br /><br />It is with sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of our father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle, Melvin Julius Yakimchuk on November 23, 2014 at the age of 64 years. <br /><br />Mel is survived by his two sons, Chris (Shelly) Yakimchuk of Las Vegas, NV and Clifford (Sandi) Yakimchuk of Nipawin, SK. His three grandsons; Jesse, Justin, and Levi Yakimchuk, and his granddaughters, Ashley Yakimchuk, and Jennifer Tsakas; his three great grandsons, Kaidyn, Carter, and Kohyn. His nine sisters, Tina Brykalo, Sally (Bob) Deptuch, Ellen Chrun, Carol (Wally) Bodnar, Marge (Gord) Davidson, Lorraine (Glenn) Hnidy, Judy (John) Hrycuik, Gracie (Eugene) Jungwirth and Tracie Stus. Two brothers; James (Eileen) Yakimchuk and Henry Yakimchuk. Numerous nieces and nephews. His special friend, Gail Dumont of Saskatoon, SK and her two children Roland Dumont and Charmaine (Rob) Budd and three grandchildren Jaron, Janae, Jason.<br /><br />Mel was predeceased by his parents, John &amp; Anne Yakimchuk; two brothers-in-law, Mike Brykalo and Victor Chrun.<br /><br />The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK. Service to be celebrated by Reverend Father Romanets.
