<div itemprop="description"><br />Shirley passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015 at St. Paul&rsquo;s Hospital. She was born January 7, 1937 in Saskatoon, SK when the family lived on a farm near Eagle Creek. The family moved to Asquith where she attended school. She was baptised in the Asquith Baptist Church and was a lifetime member. Dale and Shirley met in Asquith and were married for 54 years. They had 3 children Colleen, Les and Todd. She was a terrific baker, enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. She loved babysitting her grandchildren and watching baseball, especially her beloved Yankees. <br /> <br />Shirley is predeceased by her parents Gordon and Nancy Rice; her stepmother Doris; two sons Les and Todd; grandson Jesse; and brother Arthur. <br /> <br />She is lovingly remembered by her husband Dale; daughter Colleen (John) Tebay, their children Leighton (Carol), Derek (Heather); daughter-in-law Charmain (Todd&rsquo;s wife), their children Justin (Louann) and Cory. Her brothers and sisters Ken (Dot), Arthur&rsquo;s wife Donna, Keith, Denny (Sharon), Lynne Davidson (Woody), Barry (Peggy), Janice Rawlyk (Brad); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. <br /> <br />A special thank you to St. Paul&rsquo;s Palliative Care Unit. <br /> <br />A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, officiated by Joan Brown.
