<div itemprop="description"><br>It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of our father and grandfather. <br> <br>Sig is survived by his girlfriend, Lucille Reding; daughter, Donna Lingnau; son, Daniel (Shauna Jean); grandchildren, Gage, Alexis, and Monique; great grandchild, Carter; sisters, Crystal (Mervyn) Mcdonald, Hilda (Howard) Solie; and numerous nieces and nephews. <br> <br>Sig was predeceased by his brother, Horst (1932); his parents, Aloysius Lingnau (1988) and Johanna Lingnau (1997); and his wife; Catherine (2005). <br> <br>Sig was born in 1934 in the O'Malley district and moved to the Gledhow district in 1942 where he lived and farmed until his passing. Sig loved farming with his family. <br> <br>Vigil of Prayer will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Denis Phaneuf and Rev. Fr. Richard Doll officiating. Both services will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 211 Avenue O South, Saskatoon. Rite of Committal in the Delisle Catholic Cemetery to follow. <br> <br>Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Hospital Foundation for the Palliative Care Unit. <br> <br>To share memories and condolences, visit www.parkfuneral.ca “Obituaries”.
