<div itemprop="description">William ‘Bill’ John Greva <br>April 15, 1915 – April 10, 2017 <br> <br>Bill, beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital on Monday, April 10, 2017 at the age of 101 years. <br> <br>Bill is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Elaine; son Allen (Valerie); granddaughters Sheryl (Scott), Pamela (Jordan), Catherine (Brad), Christina (Igor); great grandchildren Kody, Keagan, Molly, William, Ava, Leah, Claire, Marcus; his special friends who faithfully visited him Elizabeth, Carol and Eunice. <br> <br>He was predeceased by his wife, Tillie; father John Greva and mother Nettie (nee Swystun); brothers Roy, Peter, Paul; and sister Olive. <br> <br>Bill was born in Saskatoon; grew up in Krydor and spent his work life in the Krydor district. In 1940 he married Tillie Melnychuk and lived in Krydor until 1987 when they moved to Saskatoon. In Saskatoon they formed even more friendships and continued close relationship with his family nearby. His family was his pride and joy; we all love him and miss him dearly. He endeavored to pass on his caring nature to his family and friends. <br> <br>Many thanks to Dr. Russell Murphy and the nurses on 4B Floor at St. Paul’s Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. <br> <br>The Funeral Service will be held at Park Funeral Home, 311 Third Avenue North on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Woodlawn Catholic Cemetery will follow. <br> <br>Memorial donations can be made to the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice. <br> <br>To share condolences and memories, visit www.parkfuneral.ca “Obituaries-Contribute”.
