<div itemprop="description">Elsie Marie (Krawchuk) Demoskoff<br>January 23, 1934 – December 18, 2016<br><br><br>With sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Elsie Marie Demoskoff on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Parkridge Centre at the age of 82 years. <br><br>Elsie is survived by her partner, Orest Hys; special friend, Violet Hrapchak and family; two stepsons, Ken (Yvonne), Fred (Eileen); six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; six half-sisters, Sonya, Alice, Helen, Mary, Sally, Julie, one half-brother, Orest, and their families; one uncle, John (Olga) Krawchuk; and one aunt, Mary Mazurek. <br><br>Elsie was predeceased by her parents, husband John Demoskoff in 2004, half-brother Orest, half-sister Mary, and step-grandsons, Ian and Joel Demoskoff. <br><br>Elsie was born January 23, 1934 at Saskatoon. She attended Hafford School, after which she moved to Saskatoon and married John Demoskoff in 1993. They lived in Saskatoon where she worked for Hickory Farms for many years. She enjoyed gardening, cross stitching, going to garage sales, casino, and dancing. She loved travelling to Arizona, California, Utah, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Caracas, Venezuela, Jamaica, and to the Vatican in Rome.<br><br>The Divine Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. from Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1202 11th Street East, Saskatoon, with celebrant Rev. Fr. Leonid Malkov, CSsR.
