<div itemprop="description">Janet Pearl Fosty (Matieshin) <br />July 11, 1943 &ndash; October 12, 2014 <br /> <br />Janet Pearl Fosty passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at her home in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 71 years. <br /> <br />Janet is survived by her daughter, Talleen (Darwin) and their children, Walker and Piper Novak; son, Mikeal Fosty; two brothers, Paul (Colleen) Matieshin, Ernie Matieshin; and by her numerous nieces and nephews. <br /> <br />She was predeceased by her parents, Cateryna (nee Chrun) and Steven Matieshin; two brothers, Edward Matieshin and Ivan Matieshin. <br /> <br />Janet was born in Grantham, Ontario. She was a hair stylist for many years and also taught at Marvel Beauty School. She retired in 2008 after being employed for twenty seven years at Western College of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoyed spending summer days at Wakaw Lake with her grandchildren, loved spending time in her back yard flower garden, adored her pets, Kea, Peaches, Boh, and Paris, and treasured her grandchildren Walker and Piper who could always count on Baba to sew their Halloween costumes at the last minute. Janet &ldquo;Mom, Baba&rdquo; will be sadly missed by her family and by all who knew her. <br /> <br />The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, officiated by Very Rev.
