Jerry died suddenly on August 8th, 2016 at our farm at Rama SK, under the shade of a tree, taking a power nap in his little blue truck. We are heartbroken.

Jerry was born Sept. 6th, 1940 in Canora SK, to Walter & Nettie Pasloski.

He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Marlo, mother-in-law Mary Remenda, brother-in-law Dick Olson, sisters-in-law Eugenia Ritchie, Helen Remenda, and Rose Pasloski as well as nephew Barry Pasloski and niece Claudette Hilderman.

Jerry's early years were spent in the Rama area where he attended school and lived on the family farm. It was during this time that he developed his love for the land. As a young man he had many jobs but his passion was always farming, which he continued throughout the majority of his life.
“The Kid” as he was known was one of the best fastball players around and a mainstay on the Rama Rams.

Jerry could fix just about anything, if he couldn't find the part he needed, or thought the price was outrageous he improvised and made it himself.

He was married on October 1st, 1966 to Sonja (Remenda) and moved to Saskatoon but his farming roots always remained deep. Jerry continued to work on the farm in Rama and was a gas fitter and furnace installation/repair man in Saskatoon. He loved being involved with his 3 sons and attending all their activities.
He liked to be busy and in his “retirement years” he was still working a couple days a week.

He is survived by his wife Sonja and their 3 sons Kim (Kerry), Kelly (Janice), and Dean. He was an awesome Dziadzo to his grandchildren; his “best girl” Wren and “little buddy” Beckett. He is also survived by his 3 brothers Leonard (Vivian), Dick (Marj), Tom as well as 3 sisters Elaine Olson, Bette Wasylenka (Al), Jeanette Rusk (Glen) and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 17th 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Parish, 1902 Munroe Ave. officiated by Fr. Emil April.
