<div itemprop="description"><br>With heartfelt sorrow we announce the passing of Joe Henderson at Royal University Hospital on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the age of 84 years. <br><br>Joe was born April 16, 1932 at his family homestead in the R.M. of Paddockwood where he continued to reside until he moved to Saskatoon at around the age of 21. His first job in Saskatoon was working for the Department of Highways. Joe then switched his path to the Transport Industry where he began his career driving trucks for Ridsdale, Motorways and Kindersley Transport. After retirement he continued to provide security services for Kindersley Transport. Joe was never one to sit around for too long. He always filled his time fixing cars and doing other mechanic type work. He enjoyed fishing with friends and landscaping in his yard. <br><br>Joe is survived by his loving wife Gayle (nee Clark); three daughters: Melinda Henderson (Kris Galenzoski) and her son William; Barb (Gordon) Reid, their children Mike and Greg, grandchildren Grayson, Journey, Jazmyn; Deb (Cal) Read, their children Shannon (Stu) Jennewein, Adam (Kim) Snook, Sarah Read, granddaughters, Emily and Abigail; two sons: Rick (Theresa) Snook, their children Megan Snook (Simon), Kendra Snook (Aaron), grandson Lucas; Duane (Lynn) Mondue; sister Edith McCallum; brother in law Brian (Bonnie) Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews. <br><br>He is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Edith Henderson; sisters Mary Henderson in infancy and Martha Smith; and brother Tom Henderson. <br><br>A Memorial Service will be held at Park Funeral Home, 311 3rd Ave. N, Saskatoon, on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Ray Beckman officiating. <br><br>To share memories and condolences, visit www.parkfuneral.ca “Obituaries-Contribute”.
