<div itemprop="description">Josephine “Jo” Mary Hrynewich <br>February 17, 1936 – January 29, 2017 <br> <br> <br>Josephine “Jo” Hrynewich, beloved wife to the late Peter Hrynewich, passed away at her residence at Oliver Lodge on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 81 years of age. <br> <br>Josephine was born in Blaine Lake, SK. She moved to Saskatoon at the age of 6. She attended Princess Alexandra Elementary School and Saskatoon Tech Collegiate. She married Peter on May 28, 1955. They enjoyed a long and happy marriage and raised three children. Peter Jr, Steven, and Katherine (Kaytie) and became a grandmother to Josie in June of 1995. She was a stay at home Mom while her children were in grade school. During this time she volunteered at the school. Later, for about ten years, she was employed as the secretary at WP Bate School. From 1984 to 2000 she was employed as secretary and office manager in her husbands chartered accounting practise. <br> <br>She was a Kiwanis member for several years during which time she worked with high school students “Key Club”, both at the local and district level. <br> <br>She was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years; her parents; and her only sister, Mary. <br> <br>She is survived by her three children; her granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. <br> <br>A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Park Funeral Home, 311 Third Avenue North. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens will follow. <br> <br>Memorial donations may be made in Josephine’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 1738 Quebec Avenue, Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1V9. <br> <br>To share memories and condolences, visit www.parkfuneral.ca “Obituaries-Contribute”.
