<div itemprop="description">With his family by his side Ray passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the age of 66 after a courageous battle with cancer. <br /><br />Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Diane (Fiddler), his son Trevor (Toni), and daughter Tricia (Zol) Sziraki. Papa is survived by his beautiful grandchildren Shelby and Paisley Lacoursiere and Bree, Zale and Bryn Sziraki. They were the loves of his life. Ray is survived by his brothers Leon (Gin), Marcel (Karen), Louis (Marj), George (Ada), sisters in law Carol and Laura, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. <br /><br />Predeceased by his parents Elmer and Marie Jean Lacoursiere, brothers Bob, Henri and Victor (in infancy), sisters Laurette Hagel and Louise (in infancy), and nephew Denis. <br /><br />His greatest past times were spending time with family camping at Waskesiu and Pike Lake and his gazebo in the backyard. Papa enjoyed watching the grandchildren in the many sports they played. <br /><br />Thanks to Gail, our palliative nurse, who helped us through such a difficult time. She was truly our angel on earth. <br /><br />Public viewing will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Ray&rsquo;s Life will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Both will be held at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 - 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon.
