<div itemprop="description"><br>The family of Sheila Dermott is saddened to announce her passing on August 31, 2016. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Predeceased by her husband Wellington (Wallie) Dermott, parents Mark and Marie Rooen, step-father Gus Carlson and sister Berniece Wielgoz. She is survived by her sisters Mavis Cook and Sharon Smith. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews and friends. <br> <br>Sheila was born in White Fox, Saskatchewan where she grew up with her three sisters and many aunts, uncles and cousins. When she finished school she helped her mother run the town telephone office until she moved to Saskatoon in 1959. She obtained a job as the postal clerk with Pinders Drug Stores where she worked for over twenty years. She married Wallie in 1965 and they spent many happy years gardening at their home in Saskatoon, camping trips to BC and most of all spending much of their summer at the cottage at Candle Lake. <br> <br>The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church, 1202 Avenue O South, Saskatoon, with lunch to follow at St. John School. Rite of Committal at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens after lunch. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Saskatoon Ducks Unlimited would be appreciated. <br> <br>To share condolences and memories, visit wwwparkfuneral.ca “Obituaries”.
