It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Suzanne Carolyn Olenik (nee Cox) of Saskatoon, SK.
Suzanne’s zest for life and her kind heart will remain as an example for those she left behind. Suzanne is survived by husband, Thomas Olenik; children, Sean and Chris; mother, Patricia Cox of Whiterock, BC; brother, Stuart Cox wife Shannon and their daughters, Veronica, Nicole and Julie of Coquitlam, BC. Suzanne was predeceased by her father, Derek Cox. Suzanne worked in libraries for all of her professional career and her love of and appreciation for holding a book in her hand never diminished with the electronic age. Her appreciation for authors led to the “Word on the Street Festival” being the last she was able to attend. She was fond of all of the arts and had the opportunity to attend the live theatre in Edmonton and Saskatoon as well as the many art galleries both local and abroad and spent many wonderful days at Saskatoon’s festivals listening to local artists.

A casual, Come and Go Gathering to share thoughts and laughter will be held on:
Edmonton: Saturday, October 15, 2016 between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at 143 Laurier Drive, Edmonton, AB.
Saskatoon: Saturday, October 22, 2016 between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at 155 JJ Thiessen Crescent, Saskatoon, SK.

To share memories and condolences, visit www.parkfuneral.ca “Obituaries”.
