<div itemprop="description"><br>Theodore Edgard (Ted) Wolf<br>1935 – 2017<br><br>Theodore Edgard (Ted) Wolf, beloved husband to Helen and father to Adam (Brianna), passed away peacefully on March 7, 2017 at the age of 81 years. <br><br>For those who knew and loved Ted, he was the model of a life well lived. Ted was born in Saskatoon spending his early years on a farm near Dundurn. Ted attended elementary school in Saskatoon and went to Saskatoon Technical Collegiate Institute. He completed part of an Engineering degree at the University of Saskatchewan. <br><br>Ted grew up playing Optimist softball and Kinsmen League hockey, and was proud of his time spent at cadet camp as a member of Royal Canadian Sea Cadets. He later became involved in the cadet program with his son Adam. At a young age of 15 Ted joined the Canadian National (CN) Telegraph Company working as a messenger. His career at what became CNCP Telecommunications lasted 40 years. Ted retired at the young age of 55. <br><br>He worked part-time at Park Funeral Chapel. Ted often shared stories about how much he enjoyed working at Park and the many perks he received, including an unlimited amount of sandwiches. Above all, Ted was a beloved husband, father, uncle, brother and a loyal friend. <br><br>Ted met his love, Helen, in 1971. They married in 1978. Their only son, Adam, was born in 1981. Ted also adored his family’s cats, Snowball and Alli. Ted was a proud German Canadian. He enjoyed taking German classes and learning about German culture with his son Adam. Ted also volunteered with the German Canadian Club Concordia. He was especially proud of the work put into the successful German pavilions at Folkfest. <br><br>In his spare time, Ted loved to fix broken household items. Ted was truly a jack-of-all-trades. Ted had a wonderful sense of humour, a generous heart and kind presence. He will not soon be forgotten. <br><br>Ted is survived by his wife, Helen Wolf; his son, Adam Wolf; his daughter-in-law Brianna Bergeron; and his sister, Katherine Diener (Jim). He is loved by his nephews and niece and great nieces and nephews. <br><br>He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Elizabeth Wolf and parents-in-law John and Ann Mazden. <br><br>Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 at St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church, 1902 Munroe Avenue. Private family Rite of Committal of ashes will take place in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon Foundation at Saskatoon Community Foundation. <br><br>To share memories and condolences, visit www.parkfuneral.ca “Obituaries-Contribute”.
