<div itemprop="description">Lucko, Walter Stanley<br><br>With deep sadness and grief we announce the passing of Walter Stanley Lucko on Friday December 16, 2016 at Parkridge Care Home, Saskatoon. <br><br>Stan was born on May 13th, 1944 in Saskatoon and leaves to mourn his passing and carry on his memory, his brother Bernie (Kathy), his children; Janice (Ron), Grant and Glenn. He is survived by his grandchildren Greg, Chris, Brandy, Jeremy, Victoria, Jessica, Sophie and great grandson Ethan. Stan is also survived by nephew Tanner, nieces Nicole Williamson and Jodie Fisher and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. <br><br>Stanley was predeceased by his wife Adeline, his parents Frank and Pauline Lucko and daughter in law, Joyce Murphy. <br><br>Stan was a friend to all and loved to meet and visit with people. After many years in BC, Stan returned to Saskatchewan. He bought Krydor School and with the help of his sons, Grant and Glenn, he renovated and resided at the school until his health forced him to leave. Stan was a great community supporter and served as Mayor of Krydor. <br><br>Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Park Funeral Home for cremation. A funeral service will be held in the spring with interment in the family plot at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens as per Stanley’s wishes. <br><br>We wish to thank the staff at Parkridge Care Home for their compassionate care and commitment for caring for Stan throughout his battle with dementia. <br><br>To share memories and condolences, visit www.parkfuneral.ca “Obituaries & Contribute”.
