Douglas Ward Hunt passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the age of 55 years. He put up a good fight battling cancer.
He was born to Robert and Valeen Hunt on June 15, 1958 in Saskatoon, and they brought him home to the Hunt farm.
Doug is survived by his common law wife, Barb Moody; his children, Klayton Stanley, Shaleen Mckenzie, Raymond, Brandy, Ricky and Randy; grandchildren, Aura and Cassidy; sisters, Wendie (Rod), Barb (Brian); brothers, Rickard and Robert (Ghislaine).
He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Valeen and brother, William Hunt.
Doug had many passions in life. The one he loved the most was truck driving. Doug loved being around family and friends, and he loved his dogs. Doug was a dreamer and now all his dreams can come true.
A Memorial Service will be held at Park Funeral Chapel (311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon) on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. officiated by The Rev. Quenton Little.
