Ian passed away peacefully at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon surrounded by his family on November 17, 2013.
Ian was born on December 10, 1962 in Plymouth, England to David and Edna Clarke. The family moved to Montreal in 1967. Ian received his education in Toronto and Calgary. He worked as an automotive mechanic in Calgary and Saskatoon. In 1993 he married the love of his life, Cinda. Three children were born to this union.
Ian’s interests were his family, spending time in the mountains and watching auto racing and the Calgary Flames.
He had a positive outlook on life, enjoyed helping others and spending time with family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Cinda, daughter, Robyn, and sons, Kyle and Colin, and brother, Graham. He will also be missed by his extended family and many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Park Funeral Chapel (311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon) on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Saskatoon Unit), 101 – 440 2nd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 2C3.
