<div itemprop="description"><br />Leander, age 89 years, passed away peacefully with family at his side at his residence in St. Ann's Senior Citizens' Village on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. <br /> <br />Leander is survived by daughters; Annette (Orest) Byblow, Ramona (Chris) Eichinger, Rosella (Harold) Hembroff; grandchildren, Jessica (Matthew) Robertson, Nicole Byblow (James Higuchi); Andrew Eichinger (Alyssa Taksas) and Melissa Eichinger (Cole Gartner): brother, Wilfred; sisters, Harlinda and Marie; and many nieces and nephews. <br /> <br />He is predeceased by parents, Adolf and Magdelina (Schlumberger) Schneider; brothers: Peter (in infancy), Clarence, Matthew, Alphonse, Father Roman; brother in law, Norbert; and sisters in law, Georgina and Julia. <br /> <br />Leander enjoyed horses, nature, gardening and participating in activities at St. Ann's. His sense of humour and mischievous nature was enjoyed by family, staff and residents of the home. He brought a smile to many with his remarks and jokes. <br /> <br />Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann's Senior Citizens' Village Chapel (2910 Louise Street, Saskatoon) on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Eugene Nwachukwu officiating.
