<div itemprop="description">Natalie Federko <br>December 22, 1924 - April 5, 2017 <br> <br>It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Natalie Federko on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at RUH in Saskatoon at the age of 92. <br> <br>Left to mourn her loss are her family; sons Ron (Deb), Don (Adeline), Bernie (Berna), Ken; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Winnie (James) Raina-Chappel; numerous nieces and nephews; and many good friends. <br> <br>Natalie was predeceased by her husband Nick; daughter-in-law Orishia; also all her siblings. <br> <br>Mom was born on December 22, 1924 in Tuffnel, SK where she spent her childhood growing up on a farm. She took her high schooling at Sacred Heart Academy in Yorkton followed by Teachers College in Saskatoon. She started her teaching career in the Foam Lake area where she met and married Nick Federko in 1951. In 1953 they started their family of 4 boys. They lived in Foam Lake for 35 years before moving to Saskatoon in 1985, eventually residing at St. Volodymyr Villa which they thoroughly enjoyed. Mom was a caring, hard working woman who loved her family and wanted the very best for them. She was an excellent cook and housekeeper who loved to entertain. Mom loved sports, hockey and the St. Louis Blues became her passion as she followed her son's career and continued to the present. <br> <br>The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at RUH, St. Volodymyr Assisted Living and Seniors First for their wonderful care of Mom. <br> <br>Prayers for Natalie will be held at St. Volodymyr Villa Chapel, 3102 Louise Place on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy will take place at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1202 11th Street East on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Saskatoon Unit, 101 440 2nd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2C3. <br> <br>To share memories and condolences, visit www.parkfuneral.ca "Obituaries-Contribute".
